This book definitely met my expectations. The book is clearly written and has excellent visuals to further explain the poses. The book also
explains the benefits of each pose. The first chapter explains what DAHN YOGA is and how it is similar and different to other forms of mind
body- training. As stated on the back of the book that DAHN YOGA BASICS helps you: develop a fit and flexible body, boost your energy and
vitality, quiet your mind and improve concentration as well as cultivate a feeling of well-being. I fully agree with the previous points.

Kindle edition has problems on my Kindle Fire HDX

I am studying Dahn Yoga in a studio now - about a month in and really learning every time I attend class. I bought the Kindle edition, hoping that it would give me more background. Unfortunately, many of the charts are tiny - and they can't be expanded on the Kindle Fire screen. The charts are what I really wanted to see! They remain thumbnail size, way too small to read. The pictures of people doing poses are fine, however. Some sentences end suddenly - and one page ran off the bottom - so some formatting & editing is very much needed. I really hope to see a new edition w/these problems fixed!

I enjoyed this introduction to yoga. I've taken some classes at the Sedona Meditation Center and some of these exercises were in the book. I've tried these exercises and they're good.
