Chilton book review

Overall the book has been helpful; however, at times it leaves you having to figure out things on your own. It might tell you how to remove a part but not always tell you how to remove it in detail. Some parts are easy to remove or at least easy to understand how the process works. While some car parts have to be removed and installed in a precise manner in order for them to be accessed correctly. This book does not always give the detail for those scenarios and I especially did not find "helpful hints" with tricks of the trade that would come in handy. I expect those types of things in a book like this.

good service from seller/very poor manual

Good service from the seller but new Chilton manuals are terrible. My Haynes from the 80s is an excellent manual but the newer ones are almost worthless. Very poor pictures, very limited and inaccurate details and they try to cram too many models into one book. They spend more time telling you to unhook your battery than they do explaining the more sophisticated procedures you bought it for. Save your money and look the info up on line or buy a used shop manual off ebay. Chiltons bought out Haynes so they're almost identical but the Haynes is even worse.

Chilton isn't what it once was

Chilton sure isn't as god as I remember. I guess since being bought by Haynes, they've adopted their style. Basically nothing is very detailed, and a lot of the real content is just under the captions of the photos instead of the actual instructions("Refer to illustration"). I haven't yet come across anything that was outright wrong, but you ought to be careful and not fully trust the book.

That said, I still gave this 3 stars because it has been useful in getting me started and knowing where to look.

Humberto Barreto is the Elizabeth P. Allen Distinguished University Professor at DePauw University. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Professor Barreto has lectured around the world on teaching economics with computer-based methods, including Spain, Brazil, Poland, India, Burma, Japan, and Taiwan, and spent one year as a Fulbright Scholar in the Dominican Republic. He has taught NSF Chautauqua short courses using simulation. He has received two teaching awards, the Indiana Sears Roebuck Teaching Award and the Wabash College McLain-McTurnan Arnold Award for Teaching Excellence. Professor Barreto's research focuses on the history of economic thought and improving the teaching of economics. His book, The Entrepreneur in Microeconomic Theory, was translated into Arabic in 1999. He is co-author with Frank Howland of an innovative text, Introductory Econometrics: Using Monte Carlo Simulation with Microsoft Excel�, published in 2006 by Cambridge University Press.

There is a lot of advice in this book! Most of the helpful tips were easy to understand and implement. I also liked that this book covered the different phases in life that women are interacting with men. I felt that by covering the different relationships she was able to offer some well rounded and great advice. I gave this book 5/5 stars. I liked her writing style, which was not condemning in any way! I would recommend this book to any woman looking to improve her relationships with the men around her. I also would recommend any of her other book which are all helpful and well written!

I would like to thank the publisher for the copy of this book I enjoyed reading. I gave an honest review based on my opinion of what I read.

I love that she tackled every subject dealing with love and relationships as a Christian. There were so many hard pills to swallow, but as I take in more living water, they go down easier.
